The 2001 romantic drama "Rehnna Hai Terre Dil Mein", which starred R Madhavan, Dia Mirza, and Saif Ali Khan, will be back in theatres on August 30.
Filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon directed the movie, which was released in October 2001. The film also starred Maya Alagh and Kabir Sadanand in significant roles.
It tells the story of Maddy (played by Madhavan), who pretends to be Rajeev (played by Khan), the person set to marry his love interest Reena (played by Mirza). However, everything changes when he discovers the truth.
The film quickly gained a cult following after its initial release and remains one of the favourite movies among fans. It is particularly well-known for its soulful songs such as "Bolo Bolo," "Kaise Mein Kahun Tujhse," and "Zara Zara." Pooja Entertainment produced the film.
Actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani mentioned that the movie holds a "special place" in his heart as it was his first project as an assistant director.
"This film holds a very special place in my heart, as it was my first project as an Assistant Director. I was quite young at the time, and being part of the AD team gave me the incredible opportunity to work closely with Maddy, Saif, and Dia on set," the actor-producer said in a release.
