Ryan Reynolds has publicly rallied behind his wife, Blake Lively, amid her ongoing legal battle with “It Ends With Us” director-actor Justin Baldoni.
Speaking candidly in an interview, the “Deadpool” star expressed immense pride in Lively’s integrity, suggesting that the public narrative barely scratches the surface of the reality their family is facing.
"Really, without getting into too much, I have never in my life been more proud of my wife. I've never in my life been more proud of someone with that level of integrity that brings that with them, carries that with them in everything that they do," Reynolds said.
"You really see the illusion behind so much of this stuff, digital life versus real life... People have no idea what's really going on," he said.

Lively had sued Baldoni in December 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment and running a smear campaign against her.
A federal judge in Manhattan earlier this month dismissed her sexual harassment claims but left intact three other claims, including retaliation, meaning a jury will still hear many of the allegations at a trial scheduled for May 18.
Baldoni and his production company Wayfarer Studios had countersued Lively and Reynolds, accusing them of defamation and extortion. Those claims were dismissed last June.
"It Ends With Us," based on Colleen Hoover's bestselling 2016 novel, opened with a haul of over USD 50 million at the box office when it was released in August 2024, but its release was shadowed by reports of discord between Lively and Baldoni.
