There has been a new controversy regarding the upcoming movie titled 'Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy,' following a notice issued by the legal team of Salman Khan requesting them to stop the production of the film. As per reliable sources, the legal notice states that the production house and the director must stop the release of the movie and also remove any posters and other marketing activities associated with the film.
It is being produced by Amit Jani, who is known for his connection with films that have been made based on controversial topics in the past, including the film based on the killing of tailor Kanhaiya Lal. However, the latest case has put the fate of the movie into question as well as whether it can go ahead as planned.
Amid the mounting controversy, Jani Firefox Media Private Limited has unveiled the film's first-look poster. Directed by Bharat S Shrinet and produced by Amit Jani, the makers claim the project is inspired by real-life legal battles and action-driven events, mounted with an international-style treatment. The first-look poster features a central character presented in an intense and mysterious avatar against a striking red-and-blue backdrop, hinting at a suspense-filled action drama. The filmmakers have also announced that the official teaser will be released on June 20.
Reacting to the legal notice, Amit Jani alleged that the move was a direct attempt to intimidate those associated with the project. In a statement, he claimed that the notice was designed to pressure people into backing down simply because of Salman Khan's star power. Neither Salman Khan nor his legal team has publicly responded to Jani's remarks so far. While the title Kala Hiran appears to reference the long-running blackbuck poaching case linked to Salman Khan, the makers have not officially detailed the exact extent to which the film is based on those events.
