Save the date invites out for Anant-Radhika shaadi

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's save the date wedding card has Radha and Krishna’s image with a Vishnu tilak and a Sanskrit Shloka imprinted on top.

Those of you wondering how many pre-wedding bashes businessman Mukesh Ambani will organise for his son Anant Ambani, the suspense is finally over.

The Ambani family have formally sent out 'save the date' invites for the – you guessed right – the wedding, to be held on July 12, 2024 – a Friday.

As this is the last wedding of the Ambani siblings, with twins Akash and Isha already married and Anant being the baby of the family, no stone is being left unturned to make the event a grand spectacle.

Mukesh and Nita Ambani are currently hosting a grand four-day pre-wedding party on a luxury cruise liner from Italy to the South of  France.

Wedding watchers are eagerly lapping up pictures supplied by paps for the latest event – we saw Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Baby Raha leave for the festivities and Mahendra Dhoni clicked at the airport.

The invites are just for saving the date for the asal shaadi.  A formal invitation will be personally sent later to guests.

These have been sent out almost a month-and-a-half in advance to ensure guests make all of their travel arrangements.

The wedding card has Radha and Krishna’s image with a Vishnu tilak and a Sanskrit Shloka imprinted on top.

The Vishnu Shantakaram Mantra is one of the most peaceful Vishnu Mantras that is believed to have a healing effect on the most dominant fears in our minds.

The venue of the wedding is going to be the Jio World Centre, the iconic landmark destination in the heart of Mumbai at the Bandra-Kurla Complex.

Celebrations organised over the second long weekend of July will span three days.

The wedding ceremony will be followed by two post-wedding ceremonies for the next two days - Saturday and Sunday.

While shubh ashirwad (auspicious blessings) for the couple will be organised on Saturday evening, the festivities will culminate with a grand reception on Sunday, July 14.

Guests have been asked to follow a dress code of Indian formal for the aashirwad  ceremony on Saturday, the invitation card mentions the dress code for the reception (Mangal Utsav) as Indian chic.

It is to be noted the first pre-wedding celebration was organised at Gujarat’s Jamnagar on March 1-3, when celebrities from around the world gathered in this city of Gujarat.
