One of the most anticipated films of 2026 is Shahid Kapoor’s “O’Romeo”.
The film, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is on its last leg of shooting, with a session scheduled at Vrundavan Studios in Malad on December 28.
“It’s a patch shoot, with some action and dialogue-heavy scenes lined up," a source quoted by a news outlet said.
The makers have also planned another 8-day shoot in January 2026. “That leg will mostly include crowd sequences and scenes with body doubles. If required, the actors may be asked to report for a day or so," added the source.
“O’Romeo” is Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj’s first-ever collaboration. Nadiadwala’s production company had shared the first look of the film on its social media handles.

The film is touted to be a visually stunning action thriller that combines romance, drama, and emotional storytelling.
The film, slated for release on Valentine’s Day next year, also stars Triptii Dimri, Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, and Farida Jalal in prominent parts, with Disha Patani making a special appearance.
Bhardwaj and Kapoor had previously collaborated on “Kaminey” (2009), “Haider” (2014), and “Rangoon” (2017).
Shahid was last seen in action thriller “Deva” that released earlier this year. The film, directed by Rosshan Andrrews, followed the story of a detective who loses his memory in an accident. The film also featured Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati.
