The 48-year-old singer’s response turned the exchange into a public confirmation, sparking major excitement among fans.

After her initial three shows sold out in less than 24 hours, Shakira has locked in two more dates in El Salvador next year.

The addition brings her total number of shows to five in February 2026, all at the Estadio Nacional Jorge “El Mágico” González in San Salvador.

The new dates are set for February 7 and 8, ahead of the original lineup on February 12, 14, and 15.

The Colombian singer shared the news on social media in response to a post from El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele who pointed out the rapid sellout and noted that producers were pushing to extend the run.

Hours later, Shakira wrote back thanking her Central American fans and officially confirming the expanded schedule. “Gracias, El Salvador y Centroamérica. ¡Vamos con dos fechas más!” she wrote.

"What fans were waiting for. Two new dates added. The Central American residency of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour: Feb. 7 and 8," the post said.

The 48-year-old singer’s response turned the exchange into a public confirmation, sparking major excitement among fans.

Organisers are expecting a crowd turnout of 82,000 across the shows. The concert is expected to fill hotels to capacity and create thousands of jobs, both direct and indirect.

The concert is Shakira’s only stop in Central America on her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” World Tour. The singer, known for hits like “Hips Don’t Lie” and “Whenever, Wherever,” last toured the region extensively in 2018. The tour accompanies the release of Shakira's 12th studio album and ranks among the most successful in the global music industry.
