Cardi has recently turned beauty entrepreneur with her Grow-Good Beauty hair care set to be launched this April.

Rapper Cardi B is known for her do-it-yourself (DIY) hair treatments as much as she is known for her music.

The “Be Careful” rapper, who very frequently shares these DIYs on social media with her fans and followers, just spilled the tea about a major mishap during one such treatment.

On the recent episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” aired on Tuesday, Cardi shared how infusing garlic into her haircare routine cost her.

“I put garlic [in it], but I put it too raw in my hair and for six months straight,” she told host Jimmy Fallon, adding, “every single time I [would] sweat, I smelled like a pasta bowl. It was gross.”

Fallon burst out laughing and remarked, “Vampires won’t bother you,” to which the rapper replied, “Well, I am the vampire.”

Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, went on to add, “I’ve been doing, like, rice water, I’ve been doing onion water, but this time I decided to go raw garlic. I’m like ‘I don’t got time to boil it and I was smelling like a chicken Caesar salad for six months straight.”

A concerned Fallon then asked her, “So you couldn’t do garlic in this?”

The rapper, who recently turned beauty entrepreneur with her Grow-Good Beauty hair care set to be launched this April, said: “I would never do that again. It didn’t work out.”

The rapper, who took a break from her “North American Little Miss Drama Tour” to promote her haircare brand, recently shared that her routine inspired her beauty debut.

“I made Grow-Good because I really put the work in on my hair,” she said.

“I was doing my own masks in my kitchen, using what I already knew from my family’s recipes and what I learned from my own research. I really took my time to get my hair looking healthy again after years of damage. And guess what? It worked. Now I wanna share my hair journey with everybody,” she said.
