Singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor is prioritising her well-being and her family.
Just three months after welcoming her daughter, Mikey, with husband Daryl Sabara, the singer announced that she is pulling the plug on her "Get in Girl" tour.
Meghan admitted that "tough conversations" and " a lot of reflection," led to the difficult decision to cancel the tour just weeks before its June 12 start in Michigan.
“Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now,” Meghan wrote on her Instagram Story, “and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time.”
The 32-year-old, who also shares sons Riley, 5, and Barry, 2, with Daryl, knew the decision would “come as a disappointment to my fans” and she was “so sorry to let you down.”

But, she knew it was not only the right decision for herself, but also for her dear ones. “I promise I'll be back soon, and I can't wait for you to hear this new record,” she added. “I’m so proud of it, and I'm endlessly grateful for your love and support always.”
The “All About That Bass” singer, who is gearing up to release her album “Toy With Me” on April 24, has been open about how she’s focused on self-love, especially with her hectic days as a mother of three.
“You have to take care of your mental health first,” she shared in a latest interview. “I’m on antidepressants. I’m in therapy every week. I was in couple’s therapy for a minute when we needed it… I just got diagnosed with ADHD. I’m testing my blood, poop, my everything, to make sure I’m at peak healthiness,” she revealed.
“I love asking for help. I’m like, ‘How can I improve in every way?’ I can’t do it all. I wish I could, and I can’t,” she added, crediting Daryl with helping her feel confident. “It’s a nice relief to be confidently loved. I know I’m the one he’s obsessed with, and he’s the one I’m obsessed with,” she said about her husband of seven years.
