Actor-rapper Will Smith is in legal trouble.

Violinist Brian King Joseph has accused the 57-year actor and his company, Treyball Studios Management, of sexual harassment, wrongful termination and retaliation.

Joseph says he was first hired by Smith in November 2024 to perform at a San Diego show. He was later invited to be a part of Will's tour “Based on a True Story: 2025”, in November 2024.

The complaint alleges that the “Bad Boys” star “was deliberately grooming and priming Mr. Joseph for further sexual exploitation”.

The complaint lists a “traumatic series of events” in March 2025 during Smith’s tour. Joseph alleges that he found that someone had entered his Las Vegas hotel room when he was not there.

Evidence “of a sexual threat of violence” allegedly included a handwritten note reading, “Brian, I’ll be back...just us,” with a drawn heart and signed, “Stone F,” as well as “wipes, a beer bottle, a red backpack, a bottle of HIV medication with another individual’s name, an earring, and hospital discharge paperwork belonging to a person unbeknownst to” Joseph.

Joseph alleges that he "feared that an unknown individual would soon return to his room to engage in sexual acts" with him.

The complaint further states that after Joseph reported the incident to hotel staff, a local non-emergency police line and Smith’s team, a member of the tour management team “shamed” Joseph and informed him that he was being terminated.

The incident caused Joseph “severe emotional distress, economic loss, reputational harm, and other damages,” including “PTSD and other mental illness as a result of the termination,” reads the complaint.

Smith’s attorney Allen B. Grodsky, however, rubbished the allegations. “Mr. Joseph’s allegations concerning my client are false, baseless, and reckless."

"They are categorically denied, and we will use all legal means available to address these claims and to ensure that the truth is brought to light."

Earlier on December 1, a $3 million lawsuit was filed by former associate Bilaal Salaam (a.k.a. Brother Bilaal) against Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett, claiming that she verbally threatened him.
