As Many as 1800 civilians have been injured in the Israeli attacks since Friday, said Iranian Health Minister Mohammad-Reza Zafarghandi.
Zafarghandi said on Tuesday that about 1,800 people, mostly civilians, have been killed since Israel began launching air strikes against Iran on June 13.
The attacks on Quds Square in northern Tehran, he said, injured 59 people and killed 12 people later on. Among those killed at the site was a pregnant woman, he added.
The minister said 35 women and 10 children were among those killed during the ongoing Israeli attacks, as the Israeli regime claimed they only targeted military, intelligence, and nuclear facilities.
The Israeli regime began strikes inside Iranian territory, including on residential buildings, in an unprovoked act of aggression overnight on June 13.
Top Iranian military officials were assassinated in targeted strikes. Civilians died when houses were directly struck.

Entire population centres were affected. Shortly afterwards, Iran began punitive strikes deep inside Israel, hitting Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa, among other targets, with ballistic missiles and drones, which made Israelis spend entire days in underground bomb shelters.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Sa’eed Iravani, said that Israel deliberately targeted vital civilian and economic infrastructure.
“Water storage, fuel depots, and petrochemical facilities—including the Asaluyeh refinery in Bushehr—were hit. Hospitals were also struck. These are not accidents. These are war crimes,” he said.
