Biden Family Criticizes Campaign Advisors After Debate Fumble.

Following a lackluster performance in the recent US Presidential debate, President Joe Biden's family has expressed disappointment, privately criticizing his campaign advisers for what they perceive as missteps leading up to the event.

Reports indicate that Biden's relatives are urging him to consider a shake-up within his political team, highlighting concerns over over-preparation and inadequate rest prior to the debate.

The debate, held on June 27, saw President Biden facing off against Republican opponent Donald Trump. Critics pointed out Trump's repetition of debunked claims and Biden's perceived struggle to pivot effectively in response. Biden's family members reportedly lamented that he was overly focused on defending his record rather than presenting a clear vision for a second term.

Sources close to the situation revealed that there were pleas made to Biden's top aides to ensure he was well-rested before the debate. However, these requests allegedly went unheeded, with concerns mounting that Biden appeared tired and unwell during the event. "What a bad decision to send him out looking sick and exhausted," remarked one individual familiar with the discussions.

Among those singled out for criticism were Anita Dunn and Bob Bauer. Dunn, a longtime Biden aide, and Bauer, the President's attorney who played Trump during debate rehearsals, faced calls for dismissal from figures within Biden's support network.

John Morgan, a prominent Biden fundraiser, was particularly vocal, suggesting that Dunn and Bauer's involvement may have been detrimental to Biden's performance.

The debate strategy itself was devised and endorsed by campaign chair Jen O'Malley Dillon, who played a pivotal role in Biden's successful 2020 campaign.

Despite the internal criticism, Biden's campaign maintained that no immediate staff changes were under consideration. A campaign official clarified that multiple advisers, not just Dunn and Bauer, were involved in Biden's preparation.

Biden's verbal missteps during the debate reignited concerns among voters and Democrats alike about his ability to effectively lead for another term. However, despite these challenges, Biden affirmed his determination to secure victory in the upcoming November presidential election against Trump.

As the election season progresses, the Biden campaign faces the task of regaining momentum and addressing internal criticisms while maintaining focus on key issues and voter concerns.
