The death toll from Israeli aerial and ground assaults has risen to 95 in Gaza in the past 24 hours, with scores of people injured, the Gaza health Ministry said on Tuesday. As many as 62 victims of Monday’s attacks happened in Gaza City and the North of the territory.
The attacks also killed 39 people who were killed in an Israeli strike on a seaside café, Al-Baqa, in the northern Gaza city, with Dozens more were wounded. Eyewitnesses told reporters that Israeli fighter jets carried out the strikes across various parts of the occupied enclave.
The rescuers told reporters, “We found people torn apart,” said Yahya Sharif. “This place wasn’t affiliated with anyone – no politics and no military association whatsoever. It was packed with people, including children, for a birthday party.”
The bombing of schools and civilian infrastructure, and other health-related facilities has caused widespread damage as the bombing continues across the enclave.

The attacks were described by the Gaza Government Media Office as a “systematic crime” against the Palestinian enclave’s health system.
The statement from the media office said, “Its warplanes bombed a tent for the displaced inside the walls of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, resulting in injuries at the site of the bombing, material damage, and directly threatening the lives of dozens of patients.”
This comes just two days after the Israeli military announced the forced displacement of the Palestinians in Gaza.
On Friday, Israel’s military chief said that the current ground operation was close to having achieved its war objectives.
On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed new opportunities had opened up for recovering the captives taken by Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups from Israel. 20 of whom are believed to still be alive.
