The Iranian state media reported that Tehran has arrested and busted a ring of six alleged Mossad operatives working inside the country at the behest of the Israeli regime in the western province of Hamadan. Calling them traitor elements embedded in Iranian society, the IRGC official was quoted as saying, the 'traitor elements' were arrested in the cities of Hamadan, Razan and Nahavand in the province, Ali Akbar Karimpour.
The official told reporters that the individuals were targeting the country through perpetrated online mission to create “chaos, confusion, and tarnish the Iranian government’s image.”
Iran has apprehended several dozen people for spying on the country for Israel since the start of the war.
Meanwhile, after both sides have agreed to enter into a ceasefire, the focus of the Israeli opposition led by Yair Golan, leader of the centre-left Democratic Party, has urged the government to follow the announced Iran ceasefire by agreeing to a truce in Gaza.

His post on X reads, “Now is the time to complete the mission: Return all the hostages, end the war in Gaza and stop once and for all the coup that threatens to make Israel weak, divided and vulnerable.”
Another opposition leader, Yair Lapid, made a similar appeal: “And now Gaza. It’s time to finish there too,” he said in comments carried by local media outlets. “Return the hostages, end the war. Israel needs to start rebuilding.”
