Iran fired missiles at Israel and US bases in the Gulf

“You have crossed our red line and must pay the price,” Iran's parliamentary speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, said in a televised address Sunday, adding, “We will deliver such devastating blows that you yourselves will be driven to beg.”

Iran fired missiles at targets in Israel and Gulf Arab states Sunday after vowing ‘revenge’ for the killing of its’ Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei by the United States and Israel airstrikes. Meanwhile, videos are surfacing on the internet showing the violent protesters destroying the US consulate in Karachi, Pakistan, post Iran’s Supreme Leader’s killing. 
 
In the video, hundreds of people stormed the US Consulate on Sunday, smashing windows. Police and paramilitary forces used batons and fired tear gas to disperse the crowd, said Mohammad Jawad, a police official. At least one protester was killed, and several others were wounded in clashes between protesters and security forces, he said.
 
New Commander of IRGC —
Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi is the new Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC after the assassination of Major General Mohammad Bakpour.
 
Iran's chief of army staff and defence minister were also killed in an airstrike targeting a meeting of the country's defence council, as per the state media reports. Gen. Abdol Rahim Mousavi and Defence Minister Gen. Aziz Nasirzadeh were killed at the meeting alongside the head of Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard and security adviser Ali Shamkhani, whose deaths Iran previously announced Sunday morning.
 
 
Iran's Cabinet vowed that this “great crime will never go unanswered” and the paramilitary Revolutionary Guard threatened to launch its “most intense offensive operation” ever, targeting Israeli and American bases.

After the initial strikes, Iran immediately launched missiles and drones toward Israel and US military installations in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar. The Israeli military said Iran fired dozens of missiles at Israel, with many intercepted. The Magen David Adom rescue service said Saturday night that a woman in the Tel Aviv area died after being wounded in an Iranian missile attack.
 
 
'Do not remain silent': Iranian Embassy in India  —
The Iranian embassy in India urged governments around the world to strongly condemn the US-Israel attack on Iran and the killing of its Supreme Leader.
 
"The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India calls upon independent and freedom-seeking governments around the world to strongly condemn this blatant crime and to refrain from remaining silent in the face of lawlessness and aggression," the Iranian mission said.
 
It said the US and Israel will have to endure the "grave consequences of this unforgivable crime".
 
"The proud nation of Iran, as always, will continue its noble path with strength, resilience, and determination. No disruption shall be permitted in the ongoing affairs of the country. The sacrifice of the "martyrs will only strengthen the resolve of the Iranian people in defending their independence, dignity, and lofty ideals," it added.
