Israeli authorities are investigating a violent incident near the Pardes Hanna-Karkur intersection, where a vehicle rammed into pedestrians at a bus stop.

 

The attack, which occurred on Thursday afternoon, has left ten people injured, with two in critical condition. Officials are treating the incident as a possible terror attack.

 

Emergency responders from Magen David Adom rushed to the scene, confirming that the injured included both men and women aged between 20 and 70. Reports also indicate that two police officers were stabbed at the Karkur intersection during the attack.

 

According to Israeli media, the assailant first targeted pedestrians before stabbing others and crashing into a police vehicle. Law enforcement officers responded swiftly, shooting and killing the attacker at the scene.

 

The suspect was identified as a 24-year-old Israeli Arab from Ma’ale Iron, a town in Israel’s Haifa district. Authorities stated that he had no prior criminal or security record.

 

The attack has raised concerns about growing security threats in the region. Israeli police are investigating the motive behind the incident while reinforcing security measures. Officials continue to monitor the situation closely, urging citizens to remain alert.
