Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun was reportedly seen at Donald Trump’s inauguration in viral videos.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Friday that India will keep raising issues related to the country's national security with the United States.

This comes after Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun was seen at Donald Trump’s inauguration in videos that went viral.

"When there is any activity against India, we bring it to the attention of the US government. We will continue to raise matters with them that affect our national security and have an anti-India agenda," said MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal during a weekly briefing.

Viral Videos:

Pannun was spotted at The Liberty Ball during the official inauguration ceremony of Trump, who returned to the White House on January 20.

Although Pannun was not invited to the event, reports say he bought tickets through a contact.

While the crowd chanted "USA, USA" at the event, Pannun was seen raising pro-Khalistan slogans. A video of this has been widely shared on social media.

The video first showed Trump and First Lady Melania on stage, then zoomed out to show the crowd chanting "USA, USA." As the camera moved further, Pannun was visible in the crowd, chanting "Khalistan Zindabad."

Non-bailable warrants were issued against Pannun on February 3, 2021, and he was declared a "Proclaimed Offender" on November 29, 2022. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also seized his properties in Amritsar and Chandigarh.
