In their discussion, Modi reiterated India's people-centric approach and stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving the ongoing conflict, echoing sentiments conveyed earlier to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, Modi expressed, "Had a constructive discussion with President @ZelenskyyUa on bolstering the India-Ukraine partnership. India remains committed to extending humanitarian aid, guided by our focus on the welfare of the people."
Additionally, Modi engaged in a conversation with Putin, extending congratulations on his recent re-election.
Zelenskyy commended India's continuous humanitarian support for the Ukrainian populace, as both leaders explored avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation across various domains.
