Navratri festivities have not only lit up streets across India but have also reached international locations like Times Square in New York City.

 

In a historic first, Durga Puja was celebrated at this iconic venue, drawing attention on social media. The event, organised by the Bengali Club USA on October 5-6, showcases a vibrant Durga Puja pandal where both Indians and Americans participated in the festivities.

 

Videos circulating online show people in traditional attire, enjoying cultural performances, and immersing themselves in the festive atmosphere. Many Indians expressed their joy at experiencing their culture abroad, while a New York resident appreciated the opportunity for non-Bengalis to witness the richness of Bengali tradition.
