Pakistan Army chief threatens to retaliate with all might amid fear of action from India.

Pakistani military commanders have threatened to respond with all available resources in case India makes a military or aerial incursion into Pakistani territory.

The adventure India is seeking will be met with full force in case there is no choice other than military confrontations with India, the forum said on Saturday.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir presided over a special corps commanders’ conference at GHQ on Friday.

The forum conducted a comprehensive review of the prevailing geostrategic environment, with particular emphasis on the current India-Pakistan standoff and the broader regional security calculus, the press release said on Saturday.

The COAS has directed forces to remain battle-ready in case of a potential conflict breakout with India after Prime Minister Modi threatened to pursue the attackers to the end of the earth. Additionally, there are reports that the attackers might have fled back to Pakistan through Neelum Valley.

During the meeting, Munir called the actions taken by the Indian parliament in August 2019 the “basis of the ongoing violence against the Indian army in Jammu and Kashmir.”

“These incidents have often coincided with unilateral moves by India to alter the status quo, as seen in 2019 when India similarly exploited the Pulwama incident to unilaterally alter the status quo of Jammu & Kashmir through revocation of Article 370.”

Munir also accused the Indian side of deliberately trying to divert Pakistani forces' attention from the western front to aid the infiltrators from Afghanistan, including the proscribed outfits like BLA and TTP.

The forum concluded with the COAS expressing complete confidence in the operational readiness, deterrence posture, and morale of all formations and strategic forces to defend the nation across the entire threat spectrum.
