Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on his inaugural three-day diplomatic journey to Saudi Arabia, beginning Saturday. The visit, announced on Friday, aims to foster discussions with Saudi leadership on matters of shared concern.

 

During his stay from April 6 to 8, coinciding with the final days of Ramadan, Sharif will also undertake Umrah in Makkah and offer prayers at the revered Masjid Nabwi Al-Sharif in Medina, as confirmed by the Foreign Office.

 

Accompanying the Prime Minister will be key ministers responsible for Foreign Affairs, Defence, Finance, Information, and Economic Affairs.

 

Anticipated engagements include meetings with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman to deliberate on mutual interests and to exchange perspectives on regional and global developments.

 

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share enduring fraternal relations, deeply rooted in religious and cultural ties.

 

Both nations are dedicated to enhancing their fraternal bonds and nurturing mutually beneficial economic and investment collaborations, as emphasized by the Foreign Office.
