In a rare TV appearance that will be telecast on October 3, Prince William gets candid with Eugene Levy as he shows the Schitt’s Creek star around the Windsor Castle.
The Prince of Wales will appear on the episode of Levy’s Apple TV+ series, The Reluctant Traveler.
Amongst other things, the royal spoke about the hardest times of his life, one being the year 2024, when his wife, Kate, Princess of Wales, and his father, King Charles III, were both diagnosed with cancer.
“I’d say 2024 was the hardest year I've ever had,” William was shown telling Levy in a preview of the Apple TV+ episode. “Life is said to test us as well, and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are.”

The episode will include William walking with Levy on the Windsor grounds with William’s dog, Orla, and the pair chatting over a pint at a pub.
“What do you do when you’re home?” Eugene asked William, who candidly responded, “Sleep. When you’ve got three small children, sleep was an important part of my life.”
The preview ended with William opening up to Levy about the hardest times of his life and his family’s health issues.
In January, Kate had said that her cancer was in remission. Since the time, she has taken on many more public engagements, including hosting US President Donald Trump and his wife on their state visit earlier this month.
Charles has also returned to public duty after stepping away for months last year to focus on his initial treatment and recovery.
The king and the princess have not revealed what type of cancer they were treated for.
