United States President Donald Trump has said that South Africa will be kept out of the 2026 G20 summit in Miami. He accused the South African government, led by Cyril Ramaphosa, of committing “horrific human rights abuses” against white farmers in the country.

Trump’s latest post on Truth Social said, “The US did not attend this year’s G20 summit in South Africa because Pretoria refused to acknowledge and address the horrific human rights abuses endured by Afrikaners and other descendants of Dutch, French, and German settlers.

He said, “To put it more bluntly, they are killing white people and randomly allowing their farms to be taken from them.” Trump also criticised American media organisations for not reporting extensively on the issue. He said, “Perhaps worst of all, the soon-to-be-bankrupt New York Times and other Fake News Media won’t issue a word against this genocide.

That’s the reason why everyone of these liars and pretenders of the radical left media is going out of business!” he said. “At the conclusion of the G20, South Africa refused to hand over the G20 presidency to a senior representative of our US Embassy, who attended the closing ceremony.

Therefore, South Africa will not be invited to the 2026 G20, which will be hosted in the great city of Miami, Florida, next year, Trump added. He went on to say that the US would also halt all financial aid to the country, as South Africa has demonstrated that it cannot be trusted with membership in any international body.
