Woods told the officers he had been looking at his phone and changing the radio station when his car collided with a truck.

Bodycam footage has revealed a surprising conversation between Tiger Woods and federal agents following his arrest for rash driving.

In the footage, Woods asked Martin County Sheriff's deputy Tatiana Levenar, who conducted a sobriety test on him, "I'm being arrested?”

“I do believe your normal faculties are impaired, and you’re under an unknown substance, so at this time you’re under arrest for DUI." Levenar replied to the 15-time major champion.

The footage also shows deputies removing two pills from Woods’ pocket. “That’s a Norco,” Woods said after an officer removed the painkillers. Authorities later confirmed he was in possession of hydrocodone.

Woods told the officers he had been looking at his phone and changing the radio station when his car collided with a truck.

The footage further reveals that Woods informed a police officer he had been on the phone with US President Donald Trump shortly after the crash.

“Thank you so much. All right. You got it. Bye,” Woods said as he walked over to an officer, adding, “I was just talking to the president.”

The golf superstar is currently dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of the President’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.

When asked about the incident, Trump described Woods as a “very close friend” and said: “I feel so badly. He’s got some difficulty. There was an accident, and that’s all I know. He’s an amazing person, an amazing man, but with some difficulty.”
