US president Donald Trump has hinted at initiating a probe against the Hungarian-American Billionaire George Soros over his alleged involvement in funding mass “riots” in the country.
The billionaire and his NGOs funded by the Open Society Foundations (OSF) have been linked to various protest movements in the US and abroad, according to Trump.
Trump said, “They have professional agitators… they get paid for their profession from Soros and other people running the open society.” “We are going to look into Soros since I think it is a RICO case against him and other people,” he said.
“This is more than just protests: this was the real agitation aimed at taking the country down; this was the riots on the street. We are going to look into this for sure,” he added.

The US federal RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act of 1970) is the law that prevents and targets organised crime in the US. The law is used to prosecute crimes committed as part of a criminal enterprise, though more recently it has seen broader use.
The US President last month called for the Hungarian-American investor and son to face charges under the statute, accusing them of supporting “violent protests, and much more, throughout the United States.”
“We will not allow these lunatic elements to rip apart this country anymore,” read Trump’s Truth Social post on Friday.
The recent revelation into the 2016 Russiagate hoax against Trump has revealed that certain documents alleged the investor’s OSF network had ties to the Hillary Clinton campaign’s debunked attempts to accuse Trump of collusion with Russia.
