The 2024 FIDE World Chess Championship final is set to begin on November 25 and will run through December 13, at Singapore’s Equarius Hotel in Resorts World Sentosa. The games will begin at 2:30 PM IST and will follow a 14-game classical format.

This exciting match will feature India's rising star, Gukesh Dommaraju (known as D Gukesh), and the reigning champion from China, Ding Liren. If D Gukesh wins, he will make history as the youngest-ever undisputed world chess champion.

Ding Liren vs D Gukesh: Head-to-Head

Despite a 14-year age gap, Gukesh and Ding Liren have faced each other three times in classical chess. Ding Liren has won all encounters, with a score of 2.5 to 0.5. He defeated Gukesh twice at the Tata Steel Masters in 2023 and 2024.
