The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a new campaign titled “Kejriwal Aayenge” in anticipation of the upcoming Delhi assembly elections scheduled for next year.
This campaign comes at a time when Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is currently detained in Tihar Jail, facing charges related to a corruption investigation involving the alleged excise policy scam.
On Thursday, the party unveiled the campaign with prominent hoardings displaying images of Kejriwal alongside the slogan "Kejriwal Aayenge." The campaign's tagline emphasises the anticipated return of Kejriwal, with the new party slogan stating, "Sisodia aa gaye hai, Kejriwal aayenge."
Manish Sisodia, who previously served as Kejriwal’s deputy, was recently granted bail after spending 17 months in jail in connection with the same excise policy case. AAP leaders are optimistic that Kejriwal will soon secure bail as well, given the recent developments in Sisodia's case.
The “Kejriwal Aayenge” campaign aims to rally support and maintain political momentum for the party despite the current legal challenges faced by its leader. By showcasing their commitment to Kejriwal’s leadership, AAP hopes to strengthen its position ahead of the assembly elections.
