A day after various student organisations staged massive protests over cancellation of NEET UG exam, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad members on Wednesday staged a protest outside the NTA office in Delhi following allegations of paper leak and irregularities.
Raising slogans against the National Testing Agency (NTA), the protestors demanded strict action against those responsible for the alleged irregularities and called for greater transparency in the conduct of competitive examinations.
During the protest, several Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) members attempted to enter the NTA office and jump police barricades installed outside the premises. However, they were pushed back by the Delhi Police and the Rapid Action Force (RAF) forces deployed at the spot.
Heavy security arrangements were put in place outside the NTA office to prevent any untoward incident."No one will be allowed to breach the law and order situation. Heavy security has been deployed outside the NTA office," a senior police officer said.

Students were seen holding placards and raising slogans during the demonstration. One placard read, “Doctor degree on sale.” In visuals shared by news agency ANI, police personnel can also be seen warning protesters of action if they failed to disperse.The National Testing Agency (NTA) earlier announced the cancellation of the NEET (UG) 2026 examination, which was conducted on May 3, saying the test would be held again on dates to be announced separately.
"On the basis of inputs subsequently examined by NTA in coordination with central agencies, and the investigative findings shared by the law enforcement agencies, the National Testing Agency, with the approval of the Government of India, has decided to cancel the NEET (UG) 2026 examination conducted on 3 May 2026, and to re-conduct the examination on dates that will be notified separately," the agency said.
