Union Home Minister Amit Shah strongly criticised the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during a rally in Delhi, calling its government a "3G regime" and alleging multiple scams under its rule. He claimed that people of the national capital would remove AAP from power in the upcoming elections.

Shah accused the AAP government of being involved in corruption, labelling it as "Ghotale wali Sarkar" (scam-ridden government), "Ghuspaithiyon ko panah dene wali Sarkar" (a government that shelters infiltrators), and "Ghaple karne wali Sarkar" (a government engaged in fraud).

He said that there was growing dissatisfaction among the people, which would reflect in the election results.

Speaking at a rally in Sonia Vihar, Shah stated that AAP leaders themselves knew they were losing. He pointed out that Manish Sisodia had switched his constituency and that 26 out of 52 AAP MLAs were denied tickets, suggesting internal unrest within the party.

He claimed this was evidence that even AAP members did not believe in their party’s victory.

Shah also criticised Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over pollution in the Yamuna River. He recalled Kejriwal’s earlier promise to clean the river and allow devotees to perform Chhath Puja without issues.

However, according to Shah, the promise remained unfulfilled. He took a dig at Kejriwal by mentioning that BJP workers had placed a cut-out of the Delhi CM in the Yamuna, only for it to require “treatment” at AIIMS due to the severe pollution.

Shah further alleged that the AAP government was responsible for several scams amounting to thousands of crores. He mentioned specific instances such as the liquor policy scam, Delhi Jal Board scam, and the ration distribution scam.

He claimed that the government misused public funds, pointing to the construction of an extravagant bungalow for the Chief Minister.

The Union Home Minister also listed financial irregularities in various sectors, alleging that the Jal Board scam amounted to ₹28,000 crores, the ration scam to ₹5,600 crores, and the DTC bus procurement scam to ₹4,500 crores.

He also accused the AAP government of mismanagement in educational infrastructure, with the classroom construction scam allegedly worth ₹1,300 crores.

As Delhi prepares for the Assembly elections on February 5, Shah urged voters to reject AAP.
