Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu arrived in Zurich, Switzerland, on Monday, marking the beginning of his visit to the World Economic Forum (WEF), according to a government press release.
At Zurich Airport, Europe TDP Forum members and Telugu NRIs extended a grand welcome to the Chief Minister's delegation, which includes IT Minister Nara Lokesh, Industries Minister TG Bharat, and other officials.
The delegation interacted with Telugu NRIs and Europe TDP Forum members at the airport, highlighting the state's new investment opportunities.
"As part of his agenda, the Chief Minister will meet investors in Zurich and engage with top executives to attract potential investments," the release stated. Additionally, Naidu met Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Telangana's IT Minister D Sridhar Babu at the airport.
The Chief Minister's visit focuses on promoting Andhra Pradesh’s investment potential to global business leaders and industrialists.
He plans to showcase the state's employment-centric industrial policies and stable business environment, which have already led to substantial investments, including agreements with reputed organisations like Google, as noted in the statement.
Following his engagements in Zurich, CM Naidu will travel to Davos to participate in a series of high-profile meetings, including discussions on green hydrogen and meetings with industry leaders from companies like Coca-Cola, Welspun, and ArcelorMittal.
His visit aims to secure investments and foster economic growth for Andhra Pradesh.
The four-day visit will conclude in Zurich, where CM Naidu will meet India's ambassador to Switzerland before returning to India.
