One army jawan was injured in the encounter with terrorists outside the army’s Sunjuwan military base in Jammu.

 

As per reports, the jawan was injured when suspected terrorists opened fire from outside the base. 

 

The incident occurred at around 11 am, when gunshots were fired at a sentry post guarded by the Army’s 36 Infantry Brigade.

 

The army swiftly responded to the incoming fire from the terrorists, the area was cordoned off and a massive search operation was initiated to track the attackers. 

 

Reports indicate, that suspected terrorists were seen near the Sunjwan Army Camp, close to Jammu Darbar, resulting joint search effort by the Army and police to track down the assailants.
