Indian Army conducted the 'Prachand Shakti' exercise in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, earlier this week, focusing on battlefield preparedness.
The exercise demonstrated how infantry units incorporated disruptive technologies into Strike Corps operations, mirroring the Indian Army's continuous technological advancement in real-world combat situations.

According to the Indian Army, the incident displayed how warfare is changing and how loitering munitions, AI-driven systems, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and autonomous platforms are becoming more and more essential to improving operational efficacy.
The exercise demonstrated the Army's increasing technology, sought to incorporate advanced and domestic technologies created by civilian innovators into military operations as part of the Army's larger "Year of Tech Absorption" initiative.
