Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, accompanied by his wife Sudesh Dhankhar, made a visit to Ayodhya on Friday to offer prayers at the Ram Mandir. They were warmly welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Minister Surya Pratap Shahi upon their arrival.

The Office of the Vice-President shared the news of their arrival in Ayodhya on social media, highlighting their reception by Shri Surya Pratap Shahi Ji and other dignitaries.

This visit follows President Droupadi Murmu's recent prayers at the Ram temple, continuing the tradition of top officials paying respects at this historic site.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony for Shri Ram Lalla at the Ayodhya temple took place on January 22, with Prime Minister Modi leading the Vedic rituals.

The ceremony was a grand affair, attended by representatives from various spiritual and religious sects across the nation, as well as people from diverse backgrounds, including tribal communities.

Acharya Satyendra Das serves as the Chief Priest of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, overseeing the temple's religious activities.

The temple itself stands as a majestic example of traditional Nagara architecture, boasting impressive dimensions and supported by numerous pillars and doors. Its intricate carvings depict Hindu deities and scenes from mythology, adding to its spiritual significance.

Inside the temple, the main sanctum sanctorum houses the idol of Shri Ramlalla, representing the childhood form of Lord Ram, attracting devotees from far and wide.

Since the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Ayodhya has witnessed a surge in visitors, with devotees flocking to the temple complex daily. The nearby Hanumangarhi Ram Temple has also seen a notable increase in footfall.

According to data from the Ministry of Tourism, more than 1.5 crore people have visited the Ayodhya Ram temple since its consecration ceremony, underlining its enduring appeal and significance.
