Gujarat water park offers Mahakumbh holy dip experience.

Maha Kumbh holds immense religious significance, drawing millions of devotees from across the country to take a holy dip in the sacred waters of Triveni Sangam at Prayagraj.

However, the large crowds and heavy rush of travellers have made it difficult for many to visit, especially from states like Gujarat, where flights, trains, and buses are overbooked.

Recognising this challenge, a water park in Gujarat has introduced a unique initiative to allow devotees to experience a symbolic ‘Shahi Snan’ without travelling to Prayagraj.

Located on National Highway 8B, about 150 kilometres from Ahmedabad, ‘Jolly Enjoy Water Park’ has created an alternative for those unable to make the journey.

Mitesh Thakkar, Director of Thaksons, the company managing the water park near Chotila, explained the idea behind this initiative.

The management has collected one lakh litres of water and four tonnes of sand from Triveni Sangam during the Mahakumbh. This holy water and sand have been brought back to Gujarat and immersed in the water park’s facilities.

Visitors who wish to take a ritualistic dip can immerse themselves in this water while being showered with the sacred elements collected from Prayagraj.

The management has also ensured authenticity by securing official entry tickets and vouchers as proof of their collection from Triveni Sangam during the Mahakumbh.

The water park charges an entry fee ranging from ₹100 to ₹500, depending on the duration of the visit. The initiative is expected to attract a large number of visitors, especially elderly devotees who may find it difficult to travel to Prayagraj.

With the convenience of performing a symbolic holy bath in Gujarat itself, many are considering this an accessible and hassle-free alternative.

The management anticipates around 25,000 visitors to participate in this unique experience over the next ten days. Meanwhile, a video showcasing the initiative has already gained significant traction online, crossing five lakh views in Gujarat.

This creative approach highlights the marketing acumen of Gujaratis, who have once again demonstrated their ability to turn challenges into opportunities. By blending tradition with innovation, the initiative allows devotees to stay connected to their faith while overcoming logistical difficulties.
