Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai of Chhattisgarh has launched the 'Single Window Portal 2.0' to bolster industrial ease and attract investments in the state's burgeoning industrial sector. Developed by the Department of Commerce and Industries, this initiative aims to streamline clearance processes and support entrepreneurs setting up industries in Chhattisgarh.
During the portal's launch, CM Sai emphasised the government's commitment to good governance and zero tolerance for corruption. The Single Window Portal 2.0 is designed to expedite various approvals, ensuring convenience for investors and new industrialists. Sai highlighted that the platform will minimise administrative hurdles and offer a user-friendly experience.
Chhattisgarh, rich in resources and opportunities for industrial growth, seeks to simplify the establishment of industries through this new system. By consolidating necessary facilities into a single platform, the state aims to enhance investor confidence and create employment opportunities for its youth. Entrepreneurs will no longer need to navigate multiple departments for applications and clearances, thanks to this streamlined approach.
The Chief Minister underscored the accountability of departmental officers assigned within the portal, ensuring timely processing of applications and periodic reviews.
He emphasised that industrial expansion not only contributes to state development but also provides significant employment prospects for the youth. A transparent and straightforward industrial setup process, as envisioned by CM Sai, is expected to attract more entrepreneurs, thereby accelerating economic growth.
Minister of Industries Lakhanlal Dewangan highlighted that the revamped Single Window System 2.0 will facilitate quick resolution of applications, enabling applicants to track their status seamlessly with just a click. This advancement marks a pivotal step towards enhancing industrial efficiency and fostering a conducive business environment in Chhattisgarh.
