Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday chaired a comprehensive review meeting at the Circuit House auditorium, assessing development projects and law and order with senior police and administrative officials.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed officials to remove illegal encroachments from government land without delay and ensure that land belonging to the poor remains free from such occupation.
Emphasising swift resolution of revenue disputes, he said immediate action should be taken to protect government and public property.
He further instructed that essential citizen services, including the issuance of residence, income, and caste certificates, be made available through the Gram Panchayat Secretariat.
He also directed that all necessary public facilities be provided at the Municipal Corporation’s zonal offices to prevent public inconvenience.
Officials were asked to ensure the timely disposal of applications received via the IGRS and CM Helpline, while conducting random checks and field visits to verify progress.
Highlighting public welfare priorities, Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to construct more Kalyan Mandapams in cooperation with public representatives.
These venues, he said, would serve underprivileged families for weddings and other social functions. He also called for expedited development in outer wards and slum areas, stressing the need for improved roads, sanitation, and drainage systems.
The Chief Minister asked the Public Works Department to launch a special drive to make all roads pothole-free.
Addressing the issue of law and order, the Chief Minister ordered continuous monitoring of social media and strict action against rumour mongers. He instructed the administration and police to respond swiftly to incidents or complaints, maintaining constant communication with the public.
Border security, cow smuggling, and other criminal activities should be closely monitored, he said, while also directing the installation of additional CCTV cameras to enhance public safety.
The Chief Minister directed the Divisional Commissioner and District Magistrate to conduct monthly reviews of the GST department and maintain special vigilance during upcoming festivals.
He emphasised the importance of ensuring adequate police deployment across the district and completing ongoing development projects within the stipulated timeline and quality standards.
Yogi Adityanath also reviewed preparations for the upcoming Ganga Mahotsav and Dev Deepawali, instructing that the celebrations be made memorable.
He ordered immediate removal of obstacles delaying the Freight Village Project and called for effective implementation of the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, encouraging the installation of solar panels to promote renewable energy.
He further directed officials to focus on cleaning and rejuvenating the Varuna and Assi rivers, and ensuring the cleanliness of ghats, streets, and roads ahead of Diwali and Dev Deepawali. The Chief Minister instructed that the Dal Mandi road project be completed on a priority basis.

Considering the festive season, he ordered effective traffic management, deployment of Home Guards alongside civil police, and regular foot patrolling in markets to maintain order.
The Municipal Corporation was asked to ensure daily cleaning of roads, sewers, urinals, and toilets across all wards, with caretakers assigned for maintenance.
Divisional Commissioner S. Rajalingam presented a detailed briefing on the preparations for Dev Deepawali. Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal shared updates on the district’s law and order situation, including its state ranking and actions against cow smuggling and cybercrime.
He also provided progress on Operation Conviction and Mission Shakti 5.0. ADG Zone Piyush Mordia elaborated on Mission Shakti 5.0 initiatives, actions against illegal liquor trade, e-evidence collection, Operation Trinetra, and public hearings across all nine districts of the zone.
District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar informed the Chief Minister that 128 projects worth approximately Rs 18,000 crore were underway, including the Ring Road Phase 2 project, scheduled for completion by June 2026.
He said construction at the under-construction Pandeypur Medical College would be expedited with additional manpower.
