Commercial LPG users received fresh relief on Saturday as oil marketing companies reduced the price of 19-kg commercial cylinders by up to ₹209, while keeping domestic LPG prices unchanged.
The latest revision lowers the price of commercial LPG by ₹202 per cylinder in Delhi and ₹209 in Kolkata. Following the cut, a 19-kg commercial cylinder will cost ₹2,738 in Delhi and ₹2,872 in Kolkata.
Commercial LPG prices have also been revised in other major cities. The new rates are ₹2,691 in Mumbai, ₹2,821 in Bengaluru, ₹2,906 in Chennai, ₹2,985 in Hyderabad, ₹2,908 in Bhubaneswar, ₹2,860 in Lucknow, ₹2,738 in Noida, and ₹3,018 in Patna.
The reduction comes a month after oil companies lowered commercial LPG prices by ₹183.50 per cylinder on July 1, reflecting easing supply conditions after months of volatility in global energy markets.

Street vendors, restaurant owners and small businesses welcomed the latest price cut, saying it would reduce operating costs. However, many also expressed hope that commercial LPG prices would decline further to ease the financial burden on small enterprises.
Commercial LPG supplies had come under pressure earlier this year following disruptions linked to tensions in the Middle East and concerns over shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil transit route. The government had temporarily prioritised domestic LPG supplies, resulting in shortages for commercial users such as hotels and restaurants.
In June, the Centre restored commercial LPG supplies to normal levels after easing the temporary restrictions imposed during the supply disruption.
The government has maintained that petroleum product prices in India are linked to international market trends, with domestic revisions reflecting changes in global crude oil and LPG prices.
