Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who was on a one-day Jharkhand tour on Friday, attacked the JMM-Congress government for corruption in the State. Targeting former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, he said that in the history of independent India, no Chief Minister ever went missing like Hemant Soren. Singh said that, unlike the previous Congress governments, no one can point a finger at the BJP government for corruption.
Taking a dig at the coalition government in Jharkhand, the Defence Minister said that what development will take place in a State, where a former Chief Minister is living like a guest in a jail.
Hitting out at people who are branding the BJP communal over the implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act or CAA, he asked under what circumstances the population of Hindus in Pakistan dwindled to about 3 per cent from about 23 per cent.
Addressing a huge rally in Chatra district Rajnath Singh said that the BJP does politics of justice and humanity.
“Till now, no minister has been accused of corruption during Narendra Modi's rule. It is not in the character of the BJP to deceive the public. He said that corruption cannot be eliminated through speeches, and for this, a change is needed in the system. We have to take a pledge that Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister of the country for the third time,” he said.
The Union Minister said that India's credibility has increased manyfold in foreign forums. India is now being heard on international platforms.
Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, India will become the third economic country in the world by the year 2027 and India will become a super economic country by 2047.
He said that India is progressing rapidly under the leadership of Narendra Modi. We are doing politics for honour and self-respect. He asked party workers to set a target of crossing four hundred and start preparing for the elections. Addressing the gathering, he reiterated Prime Minister Modi's guarantee.
