Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will hold a Road Show in the Khunti district of Jharkhand on Tuesday, April 23. The Defence Minister will reach Ranchi Airport at 1:10 pm. From there he will leave for Khunti by road.
He will address a public meeting in Khunti at 2:00 pm in support of NDA candidate Arjun Munda. After this, he will leave for Ranchi.
Union Minister and BJP candidate for Khunti Lok Sabha constituency Arjun Munda will file his nomination at Khunti on Tuesday. On the occasion, apart from Union Minister Rajnath Singh, former Jharkhand Chief Minister and State BJP president Babulal Marandi will also be present.
The senior BJP leaders after the Roadshow will accompany Union Minister Arjun Munda to file his nomination. After the nomination, the leaders will also address a public rally at Patra Ground in Khunti.
Notably, the State BJP has planned huge public gatherings and rallies where senior leaders and union ministers will accompany party candidates for nomination.
BJP candidate for Palamu constituency Vishnu Dayal Ram will file his nomination papers on April 24. The BJP high command wants this nomination affair to be a great pre-poll event. The party is sending former Union Minister and ex-army chief General (retd) V K Singh to accompany Ram during the nomination.
The party has booked Shivajee Maidan in Daltonganj for a huge rally to be addressed by V K Singh on April 24.
