Preparations for the Lok Sabha election vote counting on June 4 are underway in Delhi, with plans to install large screens at various locations in the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency.

These screens will broadcast live updates on the vote counting process. Market associations and social organisations are joining hands to organise this event, recognizing the need to keep the trader community informed while they continue their business activities.

Given that markets will remain open on June 4, traders may find it challenging to stay updated on real-time counting updates. To address this issue, trader organisations have decided to set up large screens at strategic locations in their area. This initiative has been well-received by traders, ensuring they are kept informed throughout the counting process.

The Election Commission of India is fully prepared for Phase 7 of the Lok Sabha polls, which will take place on Saturday, marking the final phase of the election.

Polling will occur in 57 parliamentary constituencies across eight states and union territories, including Bihar, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. Simultaneously, polling for the remaining 42 Assembly Constituencies of the Odisha State Legislative Assembly will also be conducted.

This phase will conclude the extensive polling process, which began on the 19th of the previous month and has covered six phases and 486 Lok Sabha seats so far. Polling for 28 states and union territories and 486 parliamentary constituencies has been conducted smoothly and peacefully.

Polling parties have been deployed to their respective polling stations with necessary equipment and materials. The polling stations are equipped with essential amenities such as shade, drinking water, ramps, and toilets to ensure a comfortable and secure voting environment for voters. CEOs and state machineries have been instructed to take adequate measures to manage any adverse effects of hot weather or rainfall predicted during the polling process
