Errol Musk says India full of love and kindness.

Errol Musk, father of Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, arrived in India’s Ayodhya on Wednesday as part of a five-day visit and hinted at upcoming business initiatives in the country.

During a media interaction, Musk described India as a “wonderful place” and said there were “some smart plans” under consideration. “India is a wonderful place. As many people as possible should come to India,” he said.

“There are a lot of Indians in the country where I come from. So, I know the Indian culture. The people are full of love, kindness, probably the best people you can meet.”

He added, “We have some smart (business) plans which are being looked at. I think they [India-U.S. relations] will be very good.”

The 78-year-old South African engineer and consultant arrived in India on Sunday, 1 June, and is expected to return to South Africa on 6 June. His itinerary includes strategic advisory support for Haryana-based Servotech Power Systems, which manufactures solar and electric vehicle charging equipment.

According to a report by Mint, Musk will assist in exploring potential partnerships to promote green initiatives in India. He is also expected to tour Servotech’s manufacturing facilities, participate in curated roundtable discussions, and meet with key government officials, investors and business leaders.

His schedule includes engagements focused on advancing India’s ambitions to become a global hub for green technologies and EV infrastructure exports, people familiar with the matter told the media.

Musk’s visit to Ayodhya included a stop at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, where he sought blessings from Shree Ram Lalla, underscoring his interest in India’s spiritual and cultural traditions.

On Thursday, 5 June, Servotech is slated to organise a large-scale plantation drive in conjunction with his visit, intended to highlight sustainability efforts and reinforce environmental awareness.

This visit by Errol Musk, though unofficial, has drawn attention due to his son Elon Musk’s own business interests in India, including ongoing discussions between Tesla and Indian authorities over electric vehicle manufacturing.
