Gujarat celebrated the 76th Republic Day with a grand ceremony where Governor Acharya Devvrat unfurled the national flag in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
The event was held at Titwa in Tapi district and witnessed patriotic fervour as people from across the region participated in the celebrations.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel extended heartfelt Republic Day greetings to the people of Gujarat and the nation on social media. Reflecting on the sacrifices of freedom fighters and Constitution-makers, Patel called for collective efforts to honour their legacy.
He underlined the significance of adhering to the principles enshrined in the Constitution and striving for a developed and harmonious India. Patel expressed pride in India’s growing stature globally under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing this period as the "golden age of independence."
The Chief Minister also lauded Gujarat’s exceptional representation in the National Republic Day Parade held at Kartavya Path in New Delhi. In a social media post, he highlighted the state’s Republic Day tableau, which beautifully captured Gujarat’s heritage and modern progress.
The tableau portrayed a blend of ancient architecture, the Statue of Unity, and advancements like the C-295 aircraft facility and Gujarat’s leadership in the semiconductor industry.
Patel expressed appreciation for the artistic depiction of Gujarat’s achievements and congratulated the team behind the creation and presentation of the tableau. The intricate design showcased the journey from Anartpur to Ektanagar, reflecting the state's rich cultural history and commitment to innovation.
