The Nayab Singh Saini-led government in Haryana marked a significant milestone on Tuesday with its first cabinet expansion, ushering in a wave of new faces to bolster the administration.

This move comes on the heels of the recent swearing-in ceremony where Saini and five other ministers took their oaths of office and secrecy.

Under the auspices of Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, the newly appointed ministers took their oaths at the esteemed Raj Bhavan in the capital city. The ceremony symbolized a crucial step forward for the state's governance and leadership.

Kamal Gupta, a stalwart BJP MLA from Hisar, led the procession by being the first to take the oath as a cabinet minister. Gupta, known for his experience and dedication, delivered his oath in Sanskrit, a language resonant with tradition and reverence. Having served as a minister in the previous M K Khattar cabinet, Gupta's return to the ministerial fold signifies continuity and stability in governance.

Following Gupta's lead, a cadre of accomplished MLAs stepped forward to assume their roles as ministers of state (independent charge). Seema Trikha from Badkhal, Mahipal Dhanda from Panipat Rural, Aseem Goel from Ambala City, Abhe Singh Yadav from Nangal Chaudhary, Subhash Sudha from Thanesar, Bishamber Singh Balmiki from Bawani Khera, and Sanjay Singh from Sohna each took their pledges with a sense of duty and commitment to serving the people of Haryana.

Former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar graced the ceremony with his presence, symbolizing a spirit of camaraderie and unity within the party.

The expansion of the cabinet under Saini's leadership reflects a concerted effort to strengthen governance, promote inclusivity, and address the diverse needs of the state's populace.

As these new ministers assume their responsibilities, the government aims to forge ahead with its agenda of progress and prosperity for all citizens of Haryana.
