High-profile speakers line-up for Day 2 of AI Impact Summit 2026

Day two promises intense discussions regarding how AI is reshaping economies and societies. Panels will examine how automation might affect employment, the deployment of AI tools in healthcare, and the safeguards necessary to ensure child safety and responsible algorithm design.

Held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from February 16 to 20, the summit is being billed as the first global AI gathering hosted in the Global South.


The global artificial intelligence impact summit enters its second day on Tuesday, featuring a packed schedule of high-level sessions and a stellar lineup of international speakers. The focus remains firmly on the pivotal questions shaping the future of AI— ranging from job disruption and public health to algorithms, child safety, and the soaring demand for data centres.

 

Day two to witness discussions on the impact of AI on economies and societies. Panels will focus on the influence of automation on jobs, the use of AI tools in the healthcare industry, and measures to protect children from AI.

Held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from February 16 to 20, the summit is being billed as the first global AI gathering hosted in the Global South.

 

Running concurrently is the India AI Impact Expo, bringing together global technology firms, startups, academia, research institutions, Union ministries, state governments, and international partners under one roof. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the event at Bharat Mandapam on Monday evening, where he visited various stalls and interacted with the companies and startups participating in the event.

 

The event features more than 600 promising startups and 13 pavilions that highlight global collaboration in the AI ecosystem. Participating nations include Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and representation from Africa.

 

Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday for a visit running until February 19. After the engagements in Mumbai, the delegation will proceed to Delhi to participate in the India AI Impact Summit 2026.

 

The exhibition has attracted a lot of public interest, with more than 250,000 visitors, which includes foreign delegates, expected to attend. As per an advisory, the exhibition was opened to the general public on February 17, after it was inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi.
