Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said students should not allow their devices to ‘enslave’ them.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued his dialogue with students via a second episode of the ninth season of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' on Monday. The first episode, which took place last week, involved interactions with students from multiple cities, including Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, Guwahati and New Delhi. This is an opportunity for students to learn from PM Modi, as well as for him to learn from them. These conversations, therefore, should not be thought of as lectures, but as a dialogue between two groups of people.

Responding to inquiries about the 'Viksit Bharat 2047' goal, the Prime Minister expressed delight that Class 10 and 12 students were already dreaming of a developed India. He appealed to young people to follow the examples set by developed countries. He highlighted several examples of small but important changes that can help improve the nation for future generations, including turning off engines at red lights and not wasting food.

The PM said students should not allow their devices to ‘enslave’ them. While encouraging the efficient use of artificial intelligence and mobile phones as tools to enhance potential, he warned against allowing them to control daily routines or replace essential human actions.

According to PM Modi, motivation is not enough for achieving ones' goals; discipline helps a lot too. He also stated that one should work towards living a balanced life.
