Indian Air Force Chief, Amar Preet Singh, inaugurated the 64th ISAM Conference at IAM Bengaluru on Thursday. The conference was centered on “Innovations in Aerospace Medicine: Infinite Possibilities.”
Experts from the Armed Forces, aircrew from IAF & Civil Aviation, and scientists from DRDO, HAL, and ISRO came together for the conference.
The event highlighted advancements in aircrew training, operational aerospace medicine, spaceflight physiology, insights from the Axiom-4 mission, hypoxia research, fatigue monitoring, OBOGS evaluation, microgravity studies, and aircraft accident investigation.
“Anchit Gupta, an avid historian, delivered the prestigious 'Air Marshal Subroto Mukherjee Oration', while AVM Deepak Gaur (Retd) delivered the 'Air Vice Marshal MM Srinagesh Memorial Oration'. The 'Jemi Hormusji Framji Manekshaw Panel' featured key insights by Awais Ahmed, Pixxel CEO & Founder, and Capt Dhruv Rebbapragada, Chief Flight Safety Officer, Indigo Airlines,” the official statement added.
