INDIA bloc today released its election manifesto in the presence of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, RJD's Jaiprakash Narayan Yadav, CPI ML's Shubhendu Sen among others.
The alliance that has named its manifesto as ‘Nyay Patra’, has promised 7 guarantees to the people of the State that it will fulfil if voted back to power.
The alliance has promised a locals' policy based on 1932 Khatian for class 3 and class 4 government jobs, implementation of Sarna Dharma Code as well as preservation of regional language and culture.
It has also promised that from December 2024, honorarium amount of Rs 2,500 will be given under the Mainiya Samman Yojana.
Guaranteeing social support, the alliance has promised to protect the interests of STs, 12 per cent quota for SCs, 27 per cent reservation for OBCs and minorities. It has also promised to form a backward class welfare ministry.
In the field of food security the INDI Alliance has promised 7 kg ration per person and an LPG cylinder for Rs 450 for every poor family of the state.
The INDIA block, which is being attacked by BJP for its failure to provide jobs, has now promised 10 lakh jobs to youths and girls of Jharkhand. It has also promised family health insurance up to Rs 15 lakh to people of the State.
The alliance has promised that degree colleges will be established in all the blocks of the state and engineering, medical colleges and universities will be established in the district headquarters.
Industrial incentive policy will be brought to provide employment opportunities and industrial parks of 500-500 acres will be built in all the district headquarters of the state, it said.
The alliance has promised increasing the MSP of paddy from Rs 2400 to Rs 3200 in its manifesto and has said that the support price of lac, tassar, karanja, tamarind, mahua, chironji, sal seeds etc will be increased by 50 per cent.
