India crush England with a 150-run win to seal T20I series.

India clinched a dominant 150-run victory over England in the fifth and final T20I, sealing the series 4-1 in style. Abhishek Sharma led the charge with a blistering century, while the bowlers delivered a collective masterclass at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.

After being put to bat, India set a massive target of 247 for 9, with Abhishek unleashing an explosive knock of 135 off just 54 balls. His innings featured seven boundaries and 13 towering sixes.

He also notched up the second-fastest T20I century by an Indian, reaching the milestone in 37 balls, just two short of Rohit Sharma’s 35-ball record.

Abhishek’s power-hitting was on display early as he raced to a 17-ball half-century, the second-fastest by an Indian.

He struck Jamie Overton for a huge six in the fifth over to reach the milestone. He then built a crucial 115-run stand for the second wicket with Tilak Varma, who contributed a steady 24.

Shivam Dube added quick runs, scoring 30, while England’s bowlers struggled to contain the assault. Brydon Carse picked up three wickets, while Mark Wood managed two, but India’s total proved insurmountable.

England’s chase never gained momentum as Indian bowlers struck at regular intervals. Mohammed Shami led the attack with figures of 3 for 25.

Varun Chakravarthy and Shivam Dube picked up two wickets each, while Abhishek capped off his stellar night with two scalps for just three runs.

England’s top order collapsed, with only Phil Salt showing resistance, scoring 55. The rest of the line-up failed to handle India’s disciplined bowling, folding for just 97 runs in 10.3 overs.

This emphatic win marked a dominant series performance by India. Abhishek’s heroics with both bat and ball made him the standout performer of the match, showcasing his immense potential on the international stage.
