Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the occasion of National Girl Child Day, reaffirmed the nation's pride in the achievements of its girls and reiterated his government's commitment to ensuring equality and opportunity for all.
Taking to X, Modi stated, "Today, on National Girl Child Day, we reiterate our commitment to keep empowering the girl child and ensure a wide range of opportunities for her. India is proud of the accomplishments of the girl child across all fields."
He further remarked, "Their feats continue to inspire us all."
The Prime Minister emphasised that his government remains resolute in its efforts to eliminate any form of discrimination against girls.
He credited focused initiatives in sectors such as education, technology, skills, and healthcare as critical enablers in fostering opportunities for the girl child.
