Earlier in the tournament, the Indian team secured a dominant 2-0 victory over Iran in the semi-finals to reach the final. Meanwhile, the Indian women's regu team also impressed by winning a bronze medal after a hard-fought loss to Vietnam in the semi-finals.
India concluded the 2025 Sepaktakraw World Cup with a remarkable tally of seven medals across various categories.
The men's regu team's gold was complemented by a silver in the women's doubles. Additionally, the men's doubles team, women's regu team, mixed quad team, women's quad team, and men's quad team each earned bronze medals, underlining the country's growing strength in the sport.
