Under the leadership of Chitrasen Gaikwad, Director of the iPAT Institute, the ‘International Enrichment Program’ was successfully conducted across key European Union countries.
The initiative was organised in collaboration with the MIT School of Government Alumni and Pratik Pathare from Beyond Blue Travel Company.
The programme was aimed to provide participating students and delegates with firsthand exposure to international diplomacy, governance systems, cultural heritage and global institutions.
The study tour included major cities such as Geneva (Switzerland), Paris (France), Luxembourg City (Luxembourg), Brussels (Belgium) and Amsterdam (Netherlands).
At the Geneva School of Diplomacy, Dr. Rakesh Krishnan delivered a presentation on the topic ‘Artificial Intelligence and Digital Diplomacy in Politics.
At the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, participants were briefed by officials on the functioning of the UN General Assembly and the role of its 193 member nations.

At UNESCO headquarters in Paris, participants met with World Heritage Director Lazare Eloundou Assomo, who highlighted Maharashtra’s forts and their recognition as world heritage sites.
The delegation also visited NATO headquarters, the European Court of Justice, the European Parliament, and in Amsterdam, the VU University (Abner Manzar), the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank House.
Through interactions with representatives of academic and voluntary organisations, new avenues for future collaboration emerged.
The programme broadened participants’ global perspective and strengthened their commitment to inclusive governance, cultural dialogue and international cooperation.
